About
Commissioned by the American Composers Forum, “Ye” (meaning “leaves” in Chinese) is a set of variations inspired by the unique sound of a cello duo. Throughout the piece, the two cellists engage in various musical dialogues, some folksy and lyrical, others jazzy and virtuosic. ©Zhou Tian
